We’re rounding out Glitterglaze Glacier by discussing doors that you definitely shouldn’t walk out of, holding your avocado when you get upset, and for some strange reason: Harry Potter.
Part 13: Glitterglaze Glacier Act 2 Part 2
I’m probably going to be the hundredth person to point this out but…
there is a solution to the Icymetric maze besides process of elimination. The sign in the first room says something about “your voice echoing back”, so if you have Laylee shout into each of the exits it’ll make a dinging sound if it’s the right one and a buzzing sound if it’s the wrong way.
They used Sorcerer instead of Philosopher because they thought it would confuse American audiences who weren’t aware of the history of alchemy and the philosopher’s stone.
If it came out today though, Neil Degrasse Tyson would definitely complain about it.
So as it turns out, JK Rowling forsaw Fullmetal Alchemist in a dream between when the book came out in the UK and the US and had just enough time to change the title so that Anime Fans would not be upset.
I prefer my Harry Potter dubbed.

We’re rounding off Moodymaze Marsh by delivering some “cook-your-own-jokes” and asserting that the game is definitely an anti-capitalist statement.
Part 14: Moodymaze Marsh Act 2
Capital B. O. is the villain of Twoka-Laylee.
I mean I’m not exactly an expert on the topic and the book came out when I was, what, ten? But I’m about 90% sure that we actually did know those things at the time, we just called it the “sorceror’s stone” because whatever you know us contrarian Yanks, always doing things different from the UK for no reason.
If you’re talking about the actual literal history of alchemy and the real-life quest for eternal life and infinite gold then I’m pretty sure you’ve gotten sidetracked a bit.
At the very least they thought us dumb Americans would get confused by the name. So whether we knew or not was immaterial.

We took last week off once again because of scheduling issues and the like but we’re back and oh so close to the end!
this week we’re finishing off the decidedly less aggravating expanded version of the Casino and not a slot machine in sight!
Part 15: Capital Cashino Act 2
The improvements in the expanded Cashino are like night and day compared to the first half of the level. Places to explore! Fun challenges! It’s almost enough to offset the way the music loop gets under your skin and eats away at what used to be your heart.

It’s time to visit the expanded version of Galleon Galaxy! If you recall, the last time we were here there wasn’t really that much to do. This is because the majority of the level is locked away behind world expansion. This does mean we’re essentially going to be finishing the entire level in 2 videos as opposed to 3 or 4 so best get comfy and prepare yourself for the longest video in the series!

This is it! after this weeks video, there will be no more Pagies, Quills, Coins, Treasures or, well, much of anything left to collect. We round out our adventure with one more Minecart section and one last round of Arcade Games from Rextro
All that stands between us and the finish line now is that pesky Capital B who has caused us so much trouble, but we’ll save our conversation about him for next week.
For now though, Let us collect everything there is to be collected and finally acquire the Best Number of Pagies
