The devs were at least cognizant that players would want to beat Dexter up. That said the premise of being a self aware character, that can alter the game while still in it has promise. Just the devs horrifically failed in their attempt to parody games.
If they were trying to make a joke about how soulless and interchangeable a lot of shooters are, they could’ve stopped a few levels ago, easily. The combat feels very much like something designed by committee and thrown at a bunch of programmers who somehow had to execute half a dozen trendy things at once, ultimately satisfying none of them all that well; there’s a time and place for lengthier battles with more durable enemies, but this just looks like a slog from start to finish.
I remember exactly one “good” gag from a trailer I saw of this back before it was released so I’m expecting that to land nowhere near as expected whenever we see it in action.
Also maybe I’m reading too into this but it’s a little weird how the first recurring enemies you’re encouraged to melee to death are meant to look like sexy ladies? Ones that the game makes kind of a thing about telling you how sexy/desirable/probably involved with Dexter they are right off the bat?

Anything we do separately is on our individual channels.

I do have my own channel but I don’t use it for LP stuff, it’s more of a dumping ground for me to put things. Infamous 2 is the only game in the series I’ve played so far. I do own Second Son but never got around to it, but I would like to play it at some point. Maybe not LP it, though, editing an open world game where you need two playthroughs to show all the unique content was very time-consuming.
