Along the way, they’re called back to the hangar. A gun has appeared in space in front of the A. Advent and it’s none other than the Ideon Gun. Cosmo immediately volunteers to go on patrol to not have to test fire the gun. It should come as no surprise that they get intercepted by enemy forces.
Episode 171: Humanity’s Path
We head back to Anaheim Electronics because Char and Amuro have received some new units. Char receives the Nightengale, and Amuro gets his Hi-Nu Gundam. It takes a while for the configurations and combat data to be copied over, and sure enough, we get attacked by Anti-A while we wait. Kamille, Gyunei, and Quess are responsible for defending AE until reinforcements arrive, and until Char and Amuro can launch to join the fight.

Episode 172: The Usurper
One more stage of DLC 3 before we switch out. Zappa’s doing the same stages as me, because these are all linear. As such, we’re going to do different things. Zappa will continue playing DLC stages, and I’ll take care of the memory stages before coming back for the rest of DLC 3.
The citizens of the A. Advent are at the brink of rioting. Echika negotiates with them, and things appear to work well, until they get a second wind and begin to riot again. The Usurper reveals himself and launches another attack.

So that I’m not putting out the same releases as Zappa, I’m switching away from the DLC stages, and I’m working on the flashback stages that were unlocked with the update from DLC 3.

Episode 179: Eureka Seven: Falling Objects
Our little sojourn to flashbackland complete, it’s time to get back to DLC 3. In fact, we’re starting off the closing trilogy of missions. Surprisingly nice, the story mentions how we’re exhausted from shooting down meteors. I’m imagining us having spent the past six missions shooting down meteors while listening to the flashbacks.
Dewey and Embryo invade the A. Advent and kidnap Iris and Ange, taking her to a place between dimensions. Dewey plans to use Iris’s powers to destroy the Earth, and he nearly does so. Fortunately, Ange escapes from Embryo, and triggers a series of events to give us a fighting chance.
