I started getting into Caravan Palace, an electro-swing kind of band. If you’ve heard anything by them, it’s likely Lone Digger.
Caravan Palace is SO GOOD at music videos, dang!
Agreed, Caravan Palace has some GOAT music videos.

Not Caravan Palace and probably a bit twee but this is a really pretty music video for how simple it is.
ghibli stuff (the second one i just heard of from @Qwarq two whole minutes ago and it’s wonderful)
Some more Ghibli ear candy for ya
I’m a huge fan of mashups and Neil knows how to capitalize on overplayed memes and nostalgia. Mouth Moods is unironically a great album I’ll be going back to a few times this year.
I think I’ve listened to Mouth Moods in its entirety at least once a day since it came out. I still can’t make it through Tiger without laughing.
If you’re a fan of mashups, and don’t mind excessive dissonance, I highly recommend Dan Deacon’s Wish Book Volume 1. Replace your 10+ year-old one-hit-wonders with modern tunes and Dan Deacon’s signature layering. Every time I listen to it, I can find new subtleties in how he uses other wonderful artists’ works, just like Neil’s Mouth-series.
Starting the morning out with some folk punk.
Ghost Mice is what got me into folk punk! Well that and Johnny Hobo & the Freight Trains. Awesome musics.
The splits on Plan-it-X Records are definitely my favorite of their releases. I’ll post a few amazing tracks.

Also going to plug The Taxpayers who have released a few things on the label, but Plan-it-X didn’t release Putting the Days to Bed.
If we are going to have a folk punk party, I’m going to add some rail yard ghosts.
Dropping some good folk punk tunes here.

And some regular punk.

Considering the current politics going on, folk-punk is essential listening. Well, most music, actually. (Buy music on Bandcamp and help the ACLU) https://twitter.com/Bandcamp/status/827608645776977921
I’ve had this one stuck in my head all afternoon.
Listening to a lot of Korean music.
Mostly the stuff you expect:
But also on the opposite end:
E:
Also, my “Drown everything out around you” song, which I find myself listening to a lot these days.
Painkiller really is the perfect metal song in my eyes.
I’ve had a lot of K-pop playing today.
Here’s one I come back to every once in a while.
So Postmodern Jukebox does jazz, blues, and lounge versions of lots of various pop songs and i kind of love it
I discover this a couple days ago, its a Japanese Chiptune Swing Band
