After a quick trip to an alternate dimension where Mario becomes Catholic, we continue our way through Berlin, Canada. The Malicious Four bar our way from taking on Sin Man, so today we’ll be taking out half of them. And ruining/improving the White House election while we’re at it.
We’ve still got time to kill before Kaneshiro finally breaks down, so we might as well do some more hangouts! But in addition to spending time with friends, we’ve also got a bunch of Mementos missions piling up that need attending to.
You know, even when we go to Bosch’s homeland to find clues, we’re kinda bad at actually finding something to help him in any capacity. But hey, it’s nice to see a new map to explore and drown in it several times!
Bulk Day continues, but thankfully we rediscover the ability to run people over with a car. And with that knowledge, clearing the rest of the missions becomes a lot easier. What will we do with all the time on our hands? Why, we’ll start fusing for half an hour, of course!
It’s time for the world’s most casual rescue as we waltz in to save Li-Fen. But for as comfortable as Mad Gear’s amenities seem to be, they’re no less interested in letting her go.
Kaneshiro’s deadline has arrived, so hopefully there’s no reason to be worried. After all, exams are looming on the horizon, and summer will come waltzing in after that, so this would be a terrible time to get arrested.
We’ve got some errands to run, but after those it’s time to go back to Nayshall. We gotta meet the Resistance, but for some reason they’re not enthusiastic about welcoming some foreign woman who’s walking down the street asking where the Resistance is.
Alright, now it’s time for Sin Man to go down. We’re done with his town, and we’ve got his pattern mostly down, so surely he has no other tricks up his… wait does he even have sleeves?
Exam time is upon, but with Knowledge 4 we might be good enough to pass. As it turns out though, there might be something far worse looming just after school’s finished. I will say, it was very nice of this hacker group to wait for tests to finish first. We really didn’t need to extra stress.
We need more info on Bosch, but we can’t get close to Shadaloo unless we enter the tournament in Nayshall. And we can’t enter that until we become Metro City’s representative. So, I guess that means we gotta join a gang now, because they’re the only ones vying for the spot.
So on the hunt for secrets in this postgame period, Mario finds a path he really should have been on before. The Switch Palace has yet to be overcome, and that seems like something that should have been done a long time ago.
It seems we have a potential solution to our Medjet problem: a mysterious hacker who’s figured out our identities in no time at all. A worrying person, but hopefully a helpful one. The one issue is making sure this Alibaba knows how the Phantom Thieves actually work, otherwise the deal they want to strike may not work the way they want.
We may be allowed to enter the tournament in Nayshall, but there are rumors of a mysterious biker hanging around at night. And given we happen to know someone like that kidnapped our friend, that might be worth looking into first.
The secrets search continues, and this one has us finally learn what Santa’s liver is for. As it turns out, it leads to the superboss.
Sorry Futaba, but we’ve got a bunch of hangouts to do before it’s palace time. Said hangouts happen to include our first rank 10 confidant, and apparently that involves a blood oath! You know, just friend things.
Welcome to the surprise extra stream of Persona 5 Royal, where we start Futaba’s palace. Unfortunately, getting in the second time won’t be as easy now that Futaba’s on guard. Hope you’re ready for several detours to retrace our steps through a linear path!
It’s time for our second crack at The Godmaster DLC. Surely a planet can’t be that hard to kill, right?
Futaba’s palace continues, as we try to uncover the path forward and her tragic past. Given this is the first Metaverse we’ve visited by a person who doesn’t suck, dealing with actual trauma instead of flimsy justifications is certainly a new feeling.
