I’m gonna be sad to see this one go. It was a roller coaster of ever shifting expectations (As in, 'What could they possibly do next?!) and I was glad to be along for the ride.

Great job with this one Fiendly, thanks for sharing this weird little game (And for persevering through some terrible game design).

I wouldn’t have made it through if I didn’t know people like you and a bunch of the commenters here and on YouTube were invested. This LP has, as far as I can tell, the most views of any Darkened Skye LP out there, which is flattering because that’s rarely the case with my stuff.

Also, as harrowing as just getting through the game was, getting this final video posted was perhaps the hardest part. It took a month and a half to edit, then it crashed my encoder 28 times before I finally chopped it up into five parts that the encoder was able to handle and merged them into the finished video with Windows Movie Maker. All worth it to get this albatross off my neck - I mean, entertain the good folks out there!

Yeah that spot where you said “They’re going to do something rude here” is the literal exact spot I got stuck. Like, I didn’t even get to the bracelet to summon the other guys, it was just the two glass demons. That’s some bullshit and no foolin’.

Thanks for the closure, man. I always wondered how this one turned out. As badly as it did turn out.

Happy to provide! There’s something to be said for the version of the story where you simply never learn the fate of the heroes since the answer is so unsatisfying, but it’s also a nightmare to spend all that time muscling through the game only to never reach the end so you’re damned either way. Thought I’d never get to the end myself during the first hour I spent attempting to get past that one encounter, and I’ve since discovered you can solve the bracelet puzzle even if you don’t have the bracelets as long as you know the correct order of the symbols, so with that documented, no one ever has to go through that fight ever again!
