FAR from my favorite glitch but I had this one happen to me.
Though I feel it’s cheating because it’s AC III.

It should link to 11:08, but yeah, this is genuinely one of the most hilarious and surreal glitches I’ve ever seen in a video game. The crazy thing is, to this day, I still have no idea how or why it happened.
I don’t mean to toot my own horn, but literally the most popular video on my Youtube channel (2.2+ million views) is this seven year old Sonic 2006 glitch montage
And while I’m going toot toot on my own videos, I guess I could also link a glitch I found in Spider-man: Web of Shadows
Haha, I almost linked to that video but I couldn’t find it. I never get tired of watching glitches from that broken ass game.
Oh yeah, I forgot, I did one for Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric, too
I only did it because my Sonic 2006 video was so popular, though. I felt like I had to, though I dragged my feet for weeks on putting together the Sonic Boom video because it really felt like kicking the game while it was down. I promise at the end that I have enough footage for a “Part 2” and I straight up never made it because it bummed me out too much
Sharing for this particular video rather than just the glitch itself:
I really enjoy a lot of the quirks of the monsters in Amnesia. For one thing, you can jump up onto their heads and they won’t actually be able to harm you at all which is hysterical. Far more amusingly though, they can’t see you if you pick up and hold small objects to your face

motdef’s entire channel is a national treasure. It’s a complete mystery to me why he dropped off the map 3 years ago. A few of my favorite videos:

This happened to me in the Showdown encounter in Chapter 20 of Uncharted 4 (this part owns by the way). Glitch starts at around 35 seconds in and wouldn’t stop until I reloaded the checkpoint. Only thing I could do was move the camera a little bit. My favorite part is that the truck just sits there with the gunner bobbing up and down forever like “…is he ok?”
I can’t claim credit for this L4D2 glitch but it warms my heart every time I think of it.
Missingno will always be what I think of when I hear the word “glitch”. Knowledge of this strange ritual for 99 Rare Candies (what else did kids want than to get there team to level 99); there was disbelief, there was fear of damaging your game, but as knowledge spread, everyone (every nerd with a Gameboy out for recess) was using it.
There was a glitch in Dark Souls called the Dragon Head Stone glitch.
The Dragon Head Stone had a skill that allowed you to breathe fire. Now, with some item screwery you could have a constant stream of any item instead of fire. Most people used this to give themselves a lot of souls with Soul-up items.
But you could also throw an infinite stream of throwing knives or firebombs. Or, like in a stream Kuvo did for Geop’s Dark Souls LP… https://youtu.be/4CToTL88J9E?t=14m19s
The WWE games are expertly coded, as you can tell.
And yea, He did grant us many space lockpicks, and it was good.

I don’t have the video anymore, as it has been lost to Viddler for eternity, but there was one time I stumbled across a game breaking glitch in Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. Shocking, I know. You too can recreate this with just a few simple steps!
Step 1: Get a horse and go out into the overworld
Step 2: Find a reasonably steep hill and dismount the horse, make sure it is perpendicular to the slope of the hill. Meaning, if you are looking directly at the slope, you should have a side view of the horse.
Step 3: Go on the higher elevated side of the horse and attempt to get on as you normally would.
Step 4: If you’ve done this right, your character should simply walk in place towards the horse, as the slope will cause your character to be unable to trigger the mounting animation.
Step 5: Go into your map and fast travel to Anvil. (I’m assuming any location would work if it’s far enough away, but this is the one I chose.
Step 6: Congratulations! You have successfully completed the glitch, which means not only has your fast travel failed and you are back where you started, you’ve also completely deleted the graphics of the cell you’re in! Collision will still work as normal, however, and reloading your save will fix it.
I don’t have a video or really anything so you’ll have to take my word on this one. I was playing Amored Core 2 over the whole week and I don’t know if it’s a glitch thats just happens in game normally, my possibly damaged copy of the game, or my shitty PS2’s fault; but if I ever finish a Mission or Arena fight while a repetitive noise is near-by, like a helicopter rotor or running water, the sound will carry over into the main menu and continue till I turn off the PS2. And yes I decided it was a good idea to do multiple missions until the sound coming out was a cacophony of awful sound like a microphone used outside on a windy day or the Drakengard soundtrack.
this is one of my favourites
and then theres
One could argue it’s not really a glitch, but I’ve always been amused by abusing alchemy in Morrowind to make all your stats 7+ figure numbers.
For those who don’t know what I’m talking about: in Morrowind, the alchemy skill was governed by your intelligence stat. Thing is, it was relatively easy to get your hands on ingredients for a potion that boosted the very same stat. So, if you’d do make a potion that boosted your intelligence, then make another under the first’s effect, the second one would be stronger. Keep doing this with stronger and stronger potions (it helped that time stopped while you were in the alchemy screen so the potion effects wouldn’t wear off) and eventually it would be possible to make potions that boosted stats - any stats - for millions of points that lasted for months at a time (bearing in mind that stats are supposed to be capped at 100).
