OHPW - Week 49: New Year’s Bash (Twitch VOD)
All right, below is the card and results as usual, but here’s something I forgot about last week:here . You can choose as many matches as you like. I’ll keep this up for a couple weeks and hopefully remember to check the thing…here .
OHPW - Episode 49: New Year’s Bash
Happy new decade everyone! Welcome back to OHPW! But, oh, what’s this? I only know… like… four people on the card. And what the hell is Dash Rendar doing here? Didn’t he evaporate and gave birth to a god of Dashness? And where’s VACANT? Who’s Ricc 2 Thicc??? I mean, we’ve seen him once before but why does he have his own open challenge? Ah well. I’m sure it’ll be interesting with so many new people out to prove themselves in a single show.
#1 Jabroni Royale Deathmatch
Somehow the shambling corpse of Dash wins. This is horrible.
Scene: Satan wonders where all the new people came from so IGgy explains that they were called up from developmental all at once. Kind of uninentionally. But hey.
#2 Singles Match
This one took way longer than Ms. Manners Agnes Paragon would have liked but you can’t help the fact that Family Man never gives up until, well, he does. Agnes wins by submission.
#3 Tag Team Match
SHA-MO controlled the match for a large portion of it. Some kind of rivalry between Thunder and Austin formed. The match ended when Lightning couldn’t answer a 20-count after whiffing a dive to the outside and getting beaten up a bit afterwards.
Scene: Kelsey is mad they booked another deathmatch without her and vents to Steve Dirt, who’s in a deatmatch… Steve promises a 1 on 1 Deathmatch sometime in the coming weeks.
#4 Three-Way Landmine Deathmatch - First Fall
Sadly there was only very little blood. Florida Man got the win by submitting Spitbal.
#5 Bunny Championship :3
ASS was the first to last substantially longer than 10 minutes against Black in some time. But she too had to fall to the Blackout.
#6 Ricc 2 Thicc Open Challenge
Ricc defeated VACANT. Yes.
#7 Darkweight Championship
Oh man, Koji really played the Babyface in Peril for that one. Nero whipped out all the big shit, killing the business, as usual. Koji took it. Until it was time for him to strike and he hit the Koji Cutter on Nero for the second time for the three count.
