This week, the party decides to take some down time and visit a completely normal carnival in the middle of the woods. Of course, the party is immediately suspicious of this absolutely average carnival and set out to prove they are right by ruining it for everyone. Will these negative Nancies destroy the most fun thing they’ve encountered? Yes, yes they will.

If there’s anything to be learned from this episode, it’s that kids who don’t get to visit carnivals grow up to be cops.

No full session this week, thanks to some scheduling issues and sickness! Instead, we have a very short and focused fireside chat about Hammer discovering himself. He might not like what he finds, of course.

Another magic storm is rolling in and it looks like the party will be caught up in it. Thankfully, the mysterious Onmir Sybk, a lost dwarven manor in the heart of the Empire, is open for business! Who is the mysterious Master of Onmir Sybk, what does he want, and why is this place just so dang spooky? In this week’s episode, the players let Julia get away with a goddamn Halloween special!

On a very special note, dijon du jour and I made a Steven Universe RPG that’s going to be going live this Monday! I’ve been tweeting game mechanics on my Twitter if you really wanna know what’s going on with the game! Also it’s going to be absolutely free forever and always! Watch this space for a link!

I forgot they were called Puzzle It Out rooms. It’s a much better name, really.

This week we don’t have a 13th Age game, mostly because I was really, really busy painting my house! Sorry! Instead, we have a spooky slasher game of Dead Channel with Shell Game, with other podcast friends Wrought and Sovereign. Enjoy this fun little game and next week we’ll return with some more 13th Age goodness.

As the party recovers from the latest magic storm to ravage the land and sets forth once again to Starport, they are drawn into the strange and very spooky events surrounding the small village of Ashbourne. What’s happening to this peaceful town and what is Sir Goldeneye doing there?

Oh shit, more Sir Goldeneye? Love that good knight. :o

This week, following their spooky psychologically thrilling adventure in Blaze’s (honestly quite sad) fear personified, the party stumbles upon Puddinpop Greenfeets, a halfling of some renown (according to him, at least); he request their help in freeing his second favorite city in the Tri-Top area, Round Top (or is it Flat Top? Or maybe Short Top?). The party, being stalwart heroes, reluctantly agrees when it becomes clear Nulthra has her hand in the woe visiting Round Top; they immediately regret this decision.

Wait, what is the bat cheese really made of?

Bat milk, that’s obvious!

Mmmm that, that’s not what most people get out of bats.

They are doing bats wrong, then, I think.

No update this week, as everyone was either sick or working! Sorry! We’ll return next week with something that is not the conclusion to our amazing fight cliffhanger.

This week, instead of a climactic fight Hugh and Blaze have a flashback fireside chat! Hugh has a bone to pick with Blaze, following the events at the Court of Stars, something that has been festering for a long while. Blaze, being a giant emotional baby, has no idea what’s going on.

The party finally takes on the awful tree that has taken over the halfling village of Round Top. Of course, it won’t be easy, what with Round Top being the epicenter of several important leylines and the tree sucking them dry for the Hunter; uprooting this glorified weed will take more than just stabbing it and burning it with hellfire.

No update this week, mostly because everyone was busy with American Thanksgiving! We’ll be back next week, at our regularly scheduled time.

So, I moved into my new house with my wonderful girlfriend; unfortunately, we planned on doing it on a Saturday, but had to move it to Sunday due to weather. Sorry! I promise we’ll be back with an episode this Friday!
