Damn, Dijon really wanted to be the hungy boy this session.
Letâs go back, for a moment, to before the battle with the Gemini Prince to see how Blaze is doing following their encounter with the Lich Prince of the Second Circle of Hell. Blaze has made no secrets about his hatred for how Hell is run and wants nothing more than to tear it all down; thankfully, Hugh is around to teach him about diplomacy.
The party has finally arrived at the Labyrinth, ready to plumb its depths and discover its secrets; thankfully, they have Hugh to guide them through. But when the Labyrinth rebels, they quickly find themselves travelling through its memories, as they discover a secret long lost to demon-kind.
The party begins its search for the White Marble Hall, in an attempt to figure out the mysterious origins of the Labyrinth; their search starts in Hughâs hometown of Rynthius, which hosts a year round carnival dedicated to the townâs mysterious origins and past.
The party rings in the New Year with a fight! They find themselves pitted against an eidolon known as the Great Guardian, who has some sort of reality warping ability; will they survive its onslaught or be forced to retreat and give up on discovering the secrets of the Labyrinth? Also, Blaze decides to do the funniest thing possible.
Big boy big boy big boy
The party finally investigates the White Marble Hall; what mysteries will await them and what sights will they see? They are extremely unprepared for it.
This week brings a fireside chat, as Juliaâs internet continue to cut in and out because of weather! Hugh has questions about pocket dimensions that he needs answered, so he approaches Dawn and Teus to get some answers.
The party finally takes a rest, following their adventures in the Labyrinth; Teus investigates his curse, Blaze has a child, Dawn has a chat with herself, and Hugh tends his garden. Then, we play a little bit of Zork as the players attempt to use the Labyrinthâs weird nature to their advantage.
Oh, Iâm definitely looking forward to you all making Hugh cry forever.
Following their navigation of the Labyrinth, the party finds themselves stuck between two legions, led by two arguing liches. Thankfully, instead of killing them, the liches believe them to be some sort of royal conflict resolution specialists. Can the players finally do some diplomacy? Probably not!
The party has never even heard of the Royal Academy for Necromancy, Demonology, and Applied Magics when they step into the 7th Circle of Hell. Discovered by a strange school porter named Scarlet, they are swiftly escorted to onboarding and sorting. Then, just as they are about to start their new life at Randam Academy, they accidentally call up a great, beetle-eyed monster called the Great Guardian. An incredible fight is about to begin!
Time for another fight! This time, the party goes up against Headmistress Sweaters and her trio of chosen heroes, including the Chosen One, the feared Hamish Grubbly-Plank! Can they defeat these horrible foes, or will they require the outside help of someone - or something - else?
You know how every podcast has an episode based on the hit movie The Lorax ? This is that episode! The party have entered the Circle of Fraud, home of a forest of infinite trees; unfortunately, the Queen of Hell has never seen a resource she wonât immediately exploit for military gain. Can the party hope to bring life back to this once verdant land?
Very much here for the sheer saturation of just little guys.
Just as a heads up, I got COVID and thatâs been interfering with me running games, as I will get joint pains so severe I canât move. The campaign isnât dead, itâs just in hibernation until Iâve recovered from my symptoms.
Weâre back! The party has finally reached the last circle of Hell, ready to face off against the Queen of Hell and tear down her crystal city. But, someone from Hughâs past is waiting for him, someone he thought heâd never have the chance to apologize to. Can the rest of the party keep Hugh safe, even as he risks being swept up into the games of Icons once again?
The fight is on! The party takes on the Queen of Hell, set on killing an Icon and freeing Hell from her reign. But the Queen isnât giving up easily, having spent centuries preparing. Its time for some regicide.
The party finds themselves sucked into a strange world, where they must once again kill the Queen of Hell. Of course, unlike last time the Queen has a giant undead dragon and a legion of ghostly wraiths; thatâs without even considering if they can even kill the Queen for good this time.
Oh hell yes, Plump Vertex is back, Iâve missed it so much.
