None of them - those who died were imposters.
OOPS, I FORGOT TO DO UPDATES FOR THIS
Schedule turned to crap! And I put off the subtitling! But it’s mostly done! Just gotta record the commentary for the final episode at this point.
I’m glad Richard and Jody have similar, bombastic tastes in celebrations. Mardi Gras just wouldn’t be the same, (and would probably be far safer,) without them.
Don’t know if they share the same excitement for public executions, though.
Congratulations to Tie Tuesday!
I can’t believe Metal Wolf tried to poison Chicago!!!
I’m sure one could argue that they weren’t told about the gas, but those guys gave everything they had to defend those towers that were spewing poison just a few meters away from them, all while their lungs were undoubtedly liquefying.
I love it when mooks take loyalty to a completely stupid level.
Coming in with that sweet Daddy Long Legs Lore:
Images blurred due to possible nightmare fuel
Technically, there are two different critters most commonly referred to as “Daddy Long Legs”.
The first is the Cellar Spider, which is actually a spider with a separate head and thorax, eight legs, venom, and fangs. These guys are largely responsible for the crazy cobwebs you see in the corner, but are basically harmless. They just eat flies and mosquitoes and stuff.
Cellar Spider^
The other is the Harvestman, which is technically an arachnid, but of an entirely different order known as the “Opiliones”. They only appear to have one body part (though they have two), eight legs, and chelicerae rather than fangs. They’re completely harmless to humans, and mostly eat very tiny insects and plants.
Harvestman^
That being said, Harvestmen do have a few bad-ass variants:

And that’s the difference between the two different kinds of Daddy Long Legs.
The best animals are the ones that look like a bored kid designed them.
Checkmate atheists.
Forgot to say it at the time because I was tired, but god do I know the feeling of “hey there’s a thing no one knows how to get good luck doin’ that LP” a lot.
God am I excited for the ending though. This has been great, if weird and clunky.
I’m playing my own drinking game at home except whenever someone mentions an Armored Core game I mainline the entire series until my eyeballs roll back in my head and I pass out.
I used to eat well down steak with ketchup, back when I was twelve and afraid of “the blood”. I still think ketchup works for steak, but only when it’s like, a breakfast steak. Melt some cheese on it, put some bacon ontop, and dig in to a strip of breakfast steak.
Aaah, what an ending.
I’m going to pretend that this game is what the rest of the world thinks that America is really like.
I was always curious about Metal Wolf Chaos. Thanks for the LP.
It’s what the rest of the world wishes America was like.
My friend is basically under the impression that this game is a full on, not even affectionate, parody of America and it’s best and worst. Especially given that final scene. Like, “oh this is what makes America great, but also this is what makes America real fuckin’ bad yo” style.
I think Richard Dick was picking up Jody’s slack at the end. The last few operation names were weak, but the "Michael!"s? Perfect quality.
It was good to see how this game actually plays. Before I only had the SGDQ run to go off of, and that didn’t get into the mechanics, it was mostly just air dashing. Still though, I’m glad I have something that’s not the GDQ run to marathon on the fourth of July now.
Merry Christmas, one and all.
I’m so happy that MiiiIIIICHAAAAel’s brand of justice won in the end. Who could’ve guessed that all of America’s problems could be solved with guns and giant space surfboards?
We can finally begin operation: “Celebrate! Geop Finished the Quality Game.”
