I’m glad nobody writing or translating this realized, “Wait, we’re just having the characters call each other smelly.” Now it’s Kingdom Hearts canon that the power of darkness just means you need a bath.
It’s something that I genuinely hope get called back to in some stupidly small but vitally important way in a later game.

Funny how the only interesting boss fights are the ones that weren’t in the original game…
I remember how back when CoM first came out, there were all these theories about how Zexion was totally still alive because there wasn’t a proper boss fight against him.
Anyway, Re:CoM is the inferior version because no one calls him “Zexy”.

Ah yes, my favorite plot point: the anime rival is best buddies with Mickey Mouse.
It’s one of the biggest tropes in anime and JRPGs and while it is a fun trope I think it’s been used too much too often and it’s about time to shake it up a bit. Maybe the next time they can give the rival and Mickey Mouse guns.
Ansem’s plan is to just mess with his hair.

If you think about it, FF is just like Riku right now. He’s being trolled by a dark force (flex_bulldog aka Ansem) but there’s a hero here to save him from turning to the dark ways of trolling (LENNY_THE_EGG aka Mickey). Anyways, love the LP.
