Every time a Disney character waltzes into a scene apropos of nothing after twenty minutes of anime characters talking about plot and darkness I let out a loud, ugly guffaw without even meaning to.

i used to do it but im too used to the crimes i have perpetrated for let’s play. my smile is gone, my emotions have been destroyed. i no longer laugh at mickey mouse. but its all right, everything is alright, the struggle is finished. ive won the victory over myself. i love kingdom hearts.

i thought this site was billed as troll free. but i see here once again, that we on this online are never free of the scourge known as trolls

Hah wharever kid, email me when you get more subs and are on my level

edit: how do i upload videos to this website

I had a thought the other day: if this game was actually fun to look at and engaging to play, one could splice in footage of the GBA version to show significant differences in the boss fights or cutscenes.

but then again, on the other hand: this is ReCoM. it doesnt deserve that kind of devotion.

The only real differences in cutscenes are certain bits of dialogue that were re-translated to sound better and be closer to the Japanese text. Also that the Re:CoM cutscenes have a lot more animation in them but that’s to be expected.

Kingdom Heart’s rendition of lips on serious cut-scenes is always hysterical for me, holy shit. Behold… THE ANIME POUT LIP:

It’s literally like Nomura only decided to put outmost care in the eyes and hair, and that he thought everything below those two elements didn’t matter in the grand scheme of things in terms of Disney animation.

I wouldnt call almost everyone having the same eyes “care” tho

Sameness and Expressiveness are two vastly different things.

(I do strongly agree with you there on the sameness, but Tetsuya’s style hasn’t changed since 1995 so… all hope is lost in that department.)

Ah, finally. A good start to our good friend Ricardo Montalbán’s adventures in the Void Castle. Right from the start showing that he is the superior anime over Sora. Despite Sora having two animal friends.

Who needs animal friends when you have a reasonably well sized and furnished apartment.

its time for riku to meet another one of his friends: repeat bossfights

Well that was fast. Riku’s story is almost over already.

The only issue I have with Riku’s Story is that you don’t really get a ton of time with any of the Organization members. Even though them hanging out in the basement is more interesting than any of the stuff that happened in Sora’s Story.

Ah, the heart-handshake. Forget high-fives. It’s the new cool thing that the kids do nowadays.

I’m still waiting for the game where we find out who actually won the Double Dash tournament.

That would’ve made it such a great scene, HelloWinter.

My take on it is a bit more along the lines of Riku just being excited about finally sealing the blood pact to get his first animal summon.
