You did a really good job on this LP, Fefnir! I liked how you called out so many of the details in the sprite work; I don’t think I consciously noticed all of them when I played.
The LP was really great start to finish. I never even heard of the Shantae series until a few years ago so it was really great to see where it all started.
I think maybe the bigger question here than the ethics of destroying the Stones is why people weren’t using them already. They had genies in those labyrinths guarding them, it’s not like no one knew where they were…
The people of Sequin Land could have had ever-flowing water, but some jerk decided to put a big eyeball monster in the room to guard and nobody wanted to bother fighting it.
