Fun fact I completely forgot about when recording this: Freezing Furnace was originally going to be two stages: Freezing Fjords and Fiery Furnace. Due to cartridge space limitations, they truncated both levels and put them together into one level.
Mumbo is horny.
And with that, Grunty’s Revenge is finally over. It was half the videos of Banjo-Kazooie, but felt like it went on twice as long.

NOTE: I was under the impression that the Banjo XBLA ports ran at 60fps, and thus was recording at 720p60 (my capture card can’t do 1080p60). I’ve realized that no, they run at a locked 30 fps, so the next session will be 1080p.
Donkey Kong 64 was good about mixing singles and bunches of bananas rather than exclusively doing one of those. Unfortunately, it was really bad about having 500 of them, making 80% of them inaccessible to any given character and distributing them in a way that you played through every level in its entirety five times.
Rare and criticism is very much like cursed monkey paws and wishes.
This is the final video with poor brightness settings. I’m sorry for that issue, but it’s resolved starting with the next episode!
