In this session of 7th Stand User, we double back to Calcutta to explore the alternate route where Wakana is the one to get taken out of commission. And as it turns out, there are a lot of roadblocks on the way to buying a submarine, even without DIO’s minions in the way.
It’s the second half of Scarlet Hollow Episode 2! It turns out we’ve uncovered more than just one teen, and all of them are unruly!
It’s the last three chapters of Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective! I couldn’t not finish the game with how much momentum it had built up, so it’s an extra long session this time. Sissel’s opportunities are starting to diminish. Is there any way he can save everyone and stop Sith’s plan?
It’s another “I forgot to post VoDs on time again” day.
Wakana finishes the Submarine route, and we get to see her take on Avdol’s role of "have a very cool intro in the Judgment fight. After that, there was just enough time to actually ride the submarine we obtained to Egypt! …Not without one final fight, of course.
It’s the first session of Metroid Fusion! I felt like giving this a replay after the Metroid Dread announcement, because it’s a very good game. Samus may not agree given what happens to her in the intro, but that’s just how perspective works sometimes.
Half the Stardust Crusaders’ journey is over, but they’ve not reached DIO yet! And worse off, it would seem their enemy’s numbers are far greater than they had expected… other than, you know, the already high number of extra Stand users that we’ve been facing.
Samus covers three sectors today, and the X have fun surprises in store for every one of them. Fast dragons! Brains in security robots! Cold ones in blob forms! For an invasive parasite, the X sure are creative.
Wakana spends some time in Aswan, however this isn’t your run-of-the-mill hangout. Turns out there’s someone here who does not care to see other OCs running about, and intends on ending Wakana’s journey by any means necessary.
Samus continues upgrading her suit, but it seems time may be running out. The X’s attempts to kill the bounty hunter are growing more and more bold, not to mention the SA-X seems it’s getting better at hunting. Samus must continue obtaining her old arsenal while also constantly plugging up new issues that threaten the station itself.
We begin this episode taking a look at what would happen if Wakana stayed at the hospital to make sure Kakyoin doesn’t get murdered. But that makes us acknowledge the existence of Oingo and Boingo, so in an effort to make sure not to ruin their whole thing we move on to the canon route. Wherein we fight a very racist bunny girl and an angry sword.
As it turns out: Yes, I did finish Metroid Fusion in this stream session. Samus starts out by hunting down a government weapon, and ends her day by putting an end to the X problem. All in a day’s work for our favorite space bounty hunter.
It’s another double update as once again I forgot to post Jojo.
The Stardust Crusaders move further through Egypt, but their enemies aren’t letting up. And today, Joseph takes the spotlight as the hero of both battles. Unfortunately, his cool moment cannot erase the Alessi arc.
And, changing tone completely, here’s the beginning of Dr. Slump! A self-proclaimed genius creates a highly-advanced robot, who he names Arale. With other inventions on the mind, said genius Senbei Norimaki, kind of lets Arale do whatever. Being full of curiosity and energy, Arale immediately sets out to make some friends.
The Stardust Crusaders arrive in Cairo, but now they have to find DIO’s mansion. And right off the bat, they’re confronted with an unusual foe who, none the less, is a dangerous Stand user.
The second stream of Dr. Slump sees us continue Chapter 2 and begin Chapter 3. Dr. Mashirito does not like a superior cyborg existing in this world, and wants to destroy Arale. He does not do a good job at doing so.
The exploration of Cairo continues! To the point where the gang finds DIO’s mansion and things go slightly better for Iggy than they should have! But with the endgame in sight, several extras have been unlocked, so now it’s time to look at some of that!
Today on Dr. Slump, Arale continues helping the aliens… kinda. Will they return to space? Unlikely at this juncture. Are they dead? Decidedly not, so it’s fine. And with that petering off, Arale moves on to causing a wedding to happen in the span of an afternoon. This is a Toriyama property after all, it would be weird if it didn’t fast-forward through the actual romantic buildup.
DIO’s Mansion is within reach, but unfortunately the extras are here to bar the way. Starting off where we left off last time, it’s time for the end of the boss rush! And as it turns out, the boss rush is preferable to the other major event in Cairo: the Rolling Stone Maze.
Aaaaaaaand here’s another double update.
Arale finds a new… rival??? In Obachaman. But it seems he’s no match for her abilities, so their competitions are more or less as breezy as everything else Arale does in life.
As we draw towards the end of 7th Stand User, the Stardust Crusaders enter DIO’s mansion. The party splits, and Wakana’s group finds themselves facing a dangerous foe in Vanilla Ice.
And by dangerous, I mean we actually kill him pretty quickly and have time to play Heritage for the Future afterwards. But that doesn’t mean there’s no tragedy to be found, as fate can only be changed so much…
On today’s adventure, Arale finally makes her way to Waycold Land in order to save a young Panseal. Little does she know that while the Panseals are fairly friendly, Penguins are ruthless killers who care not for her antics.
It’s the finale of 7th Stand User! The Stardust Crusaders, minus Avdol and Iggy, arrive at the top of DIO’s mansion. Their final battle is at hand, but DIO’s true ability remains a mystery, one which is certainly lethal of it’s not figured out. But could Avdol’s survival change the tide of this fight?
