Ryu Hayabu- er, Detective Hart takes to the streets in Vice: Project Doom

This magnificent piece of late 80’s/early 90’s over the top art is Vice: Project Doom. Its a triple genre game on the NES, that actually manages to do everything it wants to pretty dang well. Part top down driving/shooter ala Spy Hunter, part Ninja Gaiden rip off, part rail shooter, All American Badass. Its like Bayou Billy, if Bayou Billy wasn’t a festering disappointment. Especially the Platforming segments. They control almost identically to Ninja Gaiden, without the loads of ridiculous difficulty, and a sweet running/ducking maneuver that lets you run under shots.
