Iā€™m not very far, being caught up with work and life bullshit, but I wanted to know if there was any sidequest stuff to be aware of like the original Nierā€™s fifty-one percent of the sidequests in the first half of the game? Or do you get a chance to do all the sidequests on subsequent runs?

Completed side quests stay done on subsequent playthroughs. Only one optional thing is miss-able but itā€™s not easy to miss.

Spoilers if you donā€™t care about end-game content (not a plot spoiler, but a gameplay spoiler):

You unlock a chapter select after getting one of the endings that allows you to replay any section of the game. This means no side quests are miss-able and you donā€™t have to replay the whole game to 100%

This is very easily my favourite game of all time and im only halfway through route B.
