Week 25: Elimination

After Pantha’s fantastic first defense (and Can’t-Believe-it’s-Not-CM-Punk wrestling nobody but almost got pinned somehow) we settle back in with your regularly scheduled OHPW Action. The Showdown Tournament enters the first round during which people can potentially be eliminated. Anybody who has 0 points HAS to win this week (or the next if they are in B-Block) to avoid elimination.

Here’s the Match Card:

#1 Jabroni Royale Deathmatch
Kayu Zakisaka (c) vs. Great Maharaja

What a trainwreck. First the explosion fails to trigger and then the game crashes. This is a No Contest.

#2 Singles Match
Maya Northwind vs. Super Samio

Surprisingly, this match starts slow despite the two women in this match having a more dynamic style. They build to the flippy shit. It’s almost like there’ss a rhyme and reason to it. In the end Maya takes the W by submission after some flippy shit.

Scene: Angus and Palpy of the oRa 66 are backstage. While Palpy still laments his loss, blaming everybody but himself, Angus only has revenge for Mina’s brutal murderby the hands of VACANT last week on his mind. Then Mina shows up and asks them if they want anything from the store… then Angus swears revenge some more.

#3 Singles Match
DivineCoffeeBinge vs. Plumeria

This is what we expected the previous match to be. High energy, high flying. The Espresso Shot finally wins a match for DCB.

#4 Bunny Championship :3
Canada Alderman vs. Roy (c)

The inaugural Bunny Champ Canada vs. the current one, Roy. Primarily a tag guy so far Roy manages to get the win regardless. Both he and his tag partner, Ryu, have been doing great on their own so far. One with the Bunny Title, the other in the Showdown Tournament.

#5-7 Showdown Tournament A-Block - Round 3
HazMatt (2) vs. King Skeleton (0)

Hazmatt wins and has 4 points now. King Skeleton is eliminated due to bot hMatt and Harmony having tie-breakers over him

Boob Marley (2) vs. Grace Thoruson (2)

Boob defeats Grace. Getting him to 4 points.

Harmony Gray (4) vs. Hobo One Kevodki (2)

Harmony defeats Hobo in a slugfest. She now has 6 points and tie-breaker over Hobo and Grace, eliminating them both.

#8 VACANT Open Challenge
Cocademon vs. VACANT

Well, this one took longer than ten minutes. But Cocademon still could not knock down VACANT once. While Coca was knocked down twice what ended the match was him tapping out to VACANT’s submission.

#9 Seven Deadly Pins
Doctor Mutant vs. Dash Rendar vs. Chief Engineer vs. Inspector Jane vs. Harley Havik vs. Kelsey Slaughter vs. Apollo vs. A Mimic

Second elimination and our champ is already out. The end of the match is the proof of the worst timeline because Dash Rendar won.

Here’s the current Standing of the tournament:

Elimination Scenarios
B-Block: Cocademon and Ryu, who are on top with 4 points each, are safe for this week. However, if Cocademon wins again this week Goat-Monster is eliminated as Cocademon has a tie-breaker over MGMon Aside from that, both Punk and Pietzza can be eliminated if they lose and either Cocademon or Ryu win their matches. And if Ryu wins Weeb is also eliminated as Ryu has a tie-breaker over them.

A-Block: Since it’s one round ahead currently we’ve already seen three eliminations: Hobo (the top seed), King Skeleton and Grace. Ggoing into A-Block’s next round: Harmony is safe for. Even if she loses her scheduled match with Boob all that means is that he’ll have a tie-breaker over her. ON the other hand, Boob could be eliminated if Harmony wins. Which would put her to 8 points. HazMatt is safe as long as Harmony doesn’t win her match but he really should beat Grace to be on the safe side.
