To stop the launch of the new-type of nuclear
warhead, Snake must use the detonation code
emergency override key at the underground
maintenance base up north, or destroy Metal Gear
itself. Snake fights Liquid's Hind D on the roof of
Communications Tower B and defeats it. After
taking the elevator in Communications Tower B
and defeating the stealth camouflage soldiers,
Snake heads for the entrance to the underground
maintenance base beyond the Snowfield north of
Communications Tower B.
