"Link Post" option automatically adds your username.

If you click the “Link Post” option at the bottom of the post, it automatically appends your username to the end. Assuming it’s just a glitch or weird forum package artifact or something. Figured I’d give a heads up!

Hmm, I wonder if that’s for some sort of tracking purposes. Like, “Here’s the people who linked back to your post!” @bob and @Law would know more.

I’ll go ahead put it in the known issues list just in case.

I think that’s the case. In Discourse, there’s a panel which just tells us the number of visitors as a result of users linking to posts and threads, and also the top users that have been referring visitors to these forums.
