Banjo-Kazooie was the game that convinced me to buy an N64 instead of a Playstation. I love that game.

I donât think it was mentioned ever, but one thing I like in this series is how they make the beehives dangerous as you progress in the game. In this one they start having bees swarming around them that fly after you and attack you if you break the hive open for health. In Tooie they do something different that, well, I donât want to spoil for anyone who hasnât seen Tooie. I just really like the idea of âOkay, youâre a good way into the game. If youâre getting hurt enough to need this health, youâd better be prepared to come get it.â
in gruntyâs revenge if you arenât careful honeycombs from beehives will leave you with 1 HP! gruntyâs revenge is a good game
Banjo-Tooie has those too, but theyâre significantly more rare and the timing is far less needlessly harsh.
Sorry for the delay in episodes! Thereâs been some scheduling issues with my guest for the next stage. Weâre hoping to get more recording done this weekend though.
Hmm, Iâm guessing the scheduling woes continued? And as weâre getting to the more complex stages too⌠Ah well, at least Yooka Laylee is almost here.

God, I want Yooka Laylee so bad but I canât drop the money on it right now.
And yeah, scheduling has been rough for a few reasons. Itâs funny, when I started this LP I was actually recorded all the way up through Gobiâs Valley in advance and then everything immediately went wrong after I posted it.
So sorry for the delay! Life happened and it happened hard and repeatedly for like two months.
