You ask "Y?" I ask, "Y-Naught?" We Are Not the Same. Let's Play Super Robot Wars Y

Alright. Break time’s over and we’re back to SRW! A double because I forgot to post the first episode after the return from the break:

Episode 194: Happy 35th Anniversary

After our little break, we’re back! Zappa’s gonna rocket off with daily releases, but we’re gonna take things slow with every other day releases. First thing first, we have a bonus stage from the version update that came along with DLC 4. We have the 35th Anniversary stage. In game, it’s a celebration of the Super Robot War that inspired Captain Novey as a child. But out of game, it’s a celebration of 35 years of this franchise.

Episode 195: Congratulations on 20 Million!

20 Million is repeating over and over again. What could it be? Fortunately it’s only 2000. And technically only 47. What do I mean? Just watch the episode.

Episode 198: The Accelerating Future

The future? No we’re back in the past! We’re not sure how it happened, but Echika has jumped to the past. We’re getting ready to fight Godzilla in Antarctica. It seems almost the same, but we get some new visitors arriving on the stage. Interesting.

Episode 199: The Sinking of Hope

We’re hanging out at Point Nemo. Izana proposes Echika join her and submit to the willforce again, but Echika refuses, sensing the desperation in Izana’s proposal.

We refuse and we’re under attack by black Stellas. Turns out they’re controlled by the Willforce, not by Ra Val. Once we beat back the enemy, and the surprise guests, we have a discussion with Sistis, who strikes a ceasefire agreement. There is a new mysterious person for us to worry about as well.

Episode 200: The Million-Credit Man

While the A Advent is disabled, a guest appears from a dimensional portal. Turns out, it’s Crowe Bluest from Super Robot Wars Z2! However, he’s being chased by a bunch of enemies. They attack us as well, and we team up to fight them off.

He saves the A Advent from an attack, but lightly scratches the dome. Sadly, that repair will cost one million credits! He’s broke, so are we, so he promises to work it off.

Episode 201: Keep Marching on Instead of Running Off

Off we go to space! We’ve got some Witch from Mercury story to deal with as you can imagine from the stage name. Sure enough, we’re dealing with the attempted assassination of Miorine’s father, and we get the human splat incident!

Episode 202: What They Wish For

More Witch From Mercury plot. Sophie and Norea have joined the school, and have entered Earth House. However, they are still on a mission to sabotage and destroy.

There’s an open house happening, followed by duels. They crash the rumble along with some mysterious unknowns.

Episode 203: Beyond the Cycle of Reincarnation

Time to get our Dunbine and L-Gaim heroes back. The Gran Garan has been investigating the Posaydal forces, but they had to flee and Daba and Show are holding a rearguard to hold off the pursuers.

We manage to hold the off in time for reinforcements to arrive. The Posaydal forces have their own share of reinforcements. Once we clear them all out, we get a new combination attack between the L-Gaim Mk2 and the Sirbine

Episode 205: Darkness in Flux

We’re off to the Nambara connection. The Combattler team and Akira are hanging out. Combattler is getting strengthened, and Akira is upset that the Raideen can’t be strengthened. Combattler’s upgraded Super EM spin proves to be too dangerous to use for now, but Reiko shows up.

The infernal alliance shows up, and we need to fight against Garuda and the Infernal Alliance army. Best of all, we get an amazing new combo attack.

Episode 206: The Celestial Emperor’s Decision

Seivas has infiltrated the Ra Valian base, but has been captured. Cross, Lelouch, and Crowe infiltrate the base to rescue him and attempt to negotiate with Ra Valbelm.

However, the negotiations are unsuccessful, and in fact our ceasefire with Ra Val is nullified. Lelouch gets a new mech and an awesome attack though.

Episode 207: Versus the Great General of Darkness

The Great General of Darkness Stakes his life on destroying the A Advent. Echika stakes her life to survive until Y-Naught arrives. Everyone states there lives all the time. But best of all, we get a Final Dynamic Special between Getter and the Mazins.

This LP is now on hold for the month of October. We’re playing Eternal Darkness: Sanity’s Requiem as a “Spooktober Special”, so that’s taking over my release slots until Halloween. Also, we conveniently reached a great place in SRW Y to take a break, as we’ve essentially beaten the evolvers, and are now entering the second half of the Anniversary Expansion

Episode 208: The Evolvers’ Scream

Googolplex may have been defeated, but not really. They’re back and the evolvers are scared to the limit. What do we do? Simple. The Evolvers attack us, and we get to face off and do the final stage of Y if we had taken Zappa’s route. We face off against Izana no Orochi, who we hadn’t gotten to see in the main story. With her defeated, the Evolvers are destroyed, but seemingly not for good yet according to the dialogue.
