![Site-logo-2957386497](https://d1f06i8bb2eer3.cloudfront.net/original/3X/0/2/027ad83b347e01a41c755b661b06f91524ca8b56.jpeg) Simulator games have kind of taken over lately. I’m certain you’ve seen a number of them. Mostly they are known for being cheap, stuck in early access, cash grabs. And I would say you’re right. There are only a few that have come out that I think look like they could be entertaining past the initial night of playing. Then Supermarket Simulator developed by Nokta Games came along. Published Feb 20, 2024 in early access for $16.99 CAD. And it was the same as all the others. Fast forward to now and it’s still in early access. That’s not what we’re playing. Because one day, someone said, “what if we did that but with more people and for free?” Supermarket Together, developed by DeadDevsTellNoLies, was published on Aug 9, 2024. It features similar mechanics because they are the same concept, use a lot of the same assets which I’m sure are free assets anyone can download, but comes with two big additions. It supports up to 16 and is completely free. The game is still being updated and has DLC for $6.50 CAD, but that just unlocks cosmetics for you and your store. I’d say it’s worth it but that’s up to you to decide for yourself. **The Let’s Play** Myself along with [vifs\_vestige](https://www.youtube.com/@vifs_vestige) will be doing a casual playthrough of the game. We will slowly unlock all the shop items, store space, hire employees, and have the best supermarket we can together. Each video will encompass one in game week and will have a lot of the dead air edited out for your viewing pleasure. This is going to be a more laid back jump into Let’s Playing for me as it has been quite a while since I’ve done a proper one. The videos will be recorded live on [twitch](https://www.twitch.tv/p0larmic) and then edited down after a few weeks.
