Mir must move on, especially with Liukan now willing to create the antidote needed to approach Scarleticia. The Liberation Army is calling for revenge, Mir must push past fresh wounds and take on Milich’s army.
A record of the second battle of Scarleticia Castle
Despite the Liberation Army’s painful loss in Soniere Prison, they continued on to Scarleticia Castle thanks to Liukan’s antidote. Although Milich Oppenheimer’s army was still powerful without its ace-in-the-hole poison, Mir McDohl’s army was successful in routing them. Afterwards, it took them little time to infiltrate the castle and burn the poisonous plants. After the battle, Milich Oppenheimer joined the army, as he too had come under the possession of a Black Rune.

The second battle of Scarleticia Castle was a decisive victory for the Liberation Army. Although the Imperial Army still outnumbered them with 12,000 soldiers, all of them were wiped out. Of the Liberation Army’s 9,745 men, they only suffered a loss of 3,264 soldiers.

A painter who was forced to work for Milich Oppenheimer. Although he desires freedom, the poisonous flowers outside do a good job of dissuading him from resigning.
Kasios
Kasios is a musician with great loyalty to Milich Oppenheimer. Unlike Ivanov, who really doesn’t want to be in the murder-flower mansion, Kasios appreciates Milich’s recognition of his talents.

Milich Oppenheimer
Milich’s cruel nature was due entirely to the Black Rune imbued in him by Windy. It dissolves during his panic when he finds the Liberation Army breathing down his neck. Milich is aware that Emperor Barbarossa is beholden to Windy due to the latter’s resemblance to the former’s wife. Desiring an end to the war and his Emperor’s freedom, he joined the Liberation Army. Despite the numerous angry people calling for his blood.
