The Ups and Downs of Sword Fighting - Let's Play the Legend of Zelda + Zelda II

We’re moving on to lower Hyrule. Er, that’s lower east Hyrule, where the first game didn’t take place. There’s a lot to explore, and it’s all very dangerous! In fact, there’s an entire village that had to evacuate from the abundance of monsters! Ganon’s minions are clearly getting out of hand, but Lin can’t solve that problem just yet. One dungeon blocks her from the Great Palace, but thankfully finding the right key can make traversing it far easier.

We’ve visited every other palace and unlocked the gate to the last one. After a quick trip for a necessary spell and a trek through the mountains, (where Ganon’s minions are concentrated for one final shot at reviving their master,) Lin comes to the Great Palace. Navigating this place would be a challenge, (without a map,) but it’s also guarded the Fokka, the least prominent avian race in the Zelda series. Lin will have to fight her way to the bottom and face off against the strongest opponent in the land to prove herself worthy of the Triforce of Courage once and for all.

And with that, we’ve reached the end of Lin’s adventures in Hyrule. @moderators , this thread can go to Completed LPs now.
