The good news is, everything’s prepped and ready to finish Tobias’s quest. Unfortunately, we have to keep dealing with him even after making all that money. So uh… even if this is the end of this quest line, maaaaaybe we fill out the rest of the map just in case we need to mess with probes again.

Batman has stopped the Joker once again, but there’s still a bit of work to be done. The Riddler has been here all this time, and I suppose we might as well put a stop to him before he does more than taunt us into finding collectables. On top of that, though, there’s also the Spirit of Arkham we keep running into. So uh… let’s also solve this ghost mystery as well.

Today, we check out the demo for Dungeon Gals. Rosa, Wendy and Izzy have been called to a floating island to deal with a problem that would make said island a little less float-y. Monsters have infested the local magic sites that keep the place afloat, and if they’re not cleared there’ll be a disaster for certain. But with the combined might of a polycule, surely these dungeons will be cleared of danger! I mean, it’s only a demo so we don’t know for sure, but they seem pretty capable of puzzle platforming.

We’ve got the map filled out, but are we using it today? Not really! Today we’re mostly sticking around the city and Primordia. Between making friends with Celica, planning a shotgun wedding for some Prone, and stopping someone from poisoning the water supply, we don’t have a lot of wiggle room to leave at the moment.

Apparently there’s a new Scott Pilgrim beat 'em up coming out soon, which means it’s the perfect time to revisit the old one! Scott Pilgrim vs the World: The Game came out back around the time when the comic was fairly new, albeit at the end of its run, and like all adaptions of the source, the game refuses to simply be an exact retelling of the original story. But here at the start, this is mostly the comic abstracted into video game levels. Ignoring the fact that Kim Pine is soloing the entire thing in Scott’s place.

Maxwell and Lily are professional gremlin children with a terrifyingly powerful notebook that can summon whatever is written in it. Naturally, their hubris has led to their undoing as their pranks have affected a wizard with the power to turn them to stone. Or one of them, anyway. Lily is now under a terrible petrification curse, the one thing words alone can’t undo. Maxwell must journey across the land to collect Starites, and learn absolutely zero lessons because gathering the Starites involves misusing the power of words even further.

The sidequests continue, and we can do a couple of affinity missions as well! Well, we can do one affinity mission anyway. Because as unenthused about Boze’s situation as I am already, it turns out one rudely placed enemy can make his mission so much worse.

Today, we finish up the pre-Chapter 10 sidequests before continuing on with the story. Today we learn that corporations are evil, Alexa only dates robots, and the enemy has a massive ship that was deployed without permission. Whether there’s more than one of those things is something we’ll worry about later.
