To be fair to Voidburger, they did write the line “become my shell” so I think they knew exactly what they were doing with Mysterious Voice. > [@Fefnir](#): > > I feel like a lot of Soulslike games I’ve heard of tend to go for similar tones to the actual Souls games, so it’s nice to see one that goes in a different direction. Granted, it does seem like the enemies are also husks resigned to the cruel world they live in, but even that’s presented in a way that makes it feel unique. Even this early on it’s clear a lot of thought and love went into this game. > > Now, whether it’s better than Funny Truck still remains to be seen. Okay yeah what I said at the start but even more so. This game _really_ gets the tone of the Souls game beyond just “world cold and hard.” Like, there was still a lot of that of course. There has to be. But everything about the story and setting is really well thought out and interesting. I think a big part of that is that Kril isn’t a silent protagonist. He’s a very complex little guy and this game wouldn’t have been as good if it were about a quiet crab passively watching things happen around him. And you know? I think this game might be better than Funny Truck. ---

First with a trip to the New Carcinia Museum, a comprehensive bestiary with a lot of good flavor text. Then in part 2, we look at various skills, shells, costumes, and easter eggs not seen in the main LP, as well as the Trials Of The Warrior and New Game+. Thank you to everyone who has watched, liked, commented, etc. This was an absolute blast, and I’m glad I got to show off this incredible game for y’all! There may be a couple extra songs coming down the pike along with a full release of all the music I made for this project, but for now, I hope you enjoy the grand finale, and stay crabby everyone!
